I agree. Audion was my Mp3 player of choice in the pre-OsX days... they abandoned it though, and now it's free... I use it again now... just to pre-sort "new" MP3s so I don't mess up my iTunes library...

i end up JB twice using pwnage tool as the first time was full of bugs

I think that the 20" iMac is very nice. Have heard many positive reviews about the iMac and this model in particular. Should handle your programs very nicely. I would recommend getting extra RAM if its affordable.

I feel like apple should have let the people who actually got to preorder pick up today, to lower the crowds. Also the people who have reserved phones that are camping are morons. Your gettig it as long as you show up, why waste a whole night up? The answer to play with it all day makes no sense because most of us already have os4 and in reality once you play with FaceTime and the new camera it's not that different.

I don't get it. I see a box with two sets of letters, FS on top and FF on the bottom. Why do I see that instead of the symbol?

The Apple symbols that you're able to see are just GIF images (one of the smilies provided by this message board is an Apple logo.) You can see this one (:apple:), because it's just an image. But you can only see this one () if you have the necessary fonts installed, which all iOS devices and Macs should.

@ChrisA Thanks for the reply. It was very informative! Actually there's a lot of things I need to know because I'm actually migrating to Mac from PC and there are some things which I'm not clear.
Most of the instruments on jam pack are just "ok". Good enough for your own composing but not good enogh for profesional recording. But there are third party speccialized software instruments that work. Jam Packs are the best bang per buck because you get so many on the disc. but always there is something better.
This is one example of a 3rd party "plug-in" I think there are a few others. http://www.ninevoltaudio.com/products/taiko.html
Put use the jam pack first
EDIT: The link about says you need "Kontakt" (full version) to use it. That is getting expensive but if you need that quality then you need it.

It's still Chrome. I downloaded the latest version and when typing a server name to browse on the corporate network, it searches for the name instead. That's a very dumb issue for a web browser to have. It should try contacting it first and if there are DNS failures, then search for it.
Uninstalled and back to Firefox. At this point, I don't ever plan on trying Chrome again. I have tried it many times and each time there's some nuisance.

I've never found the server healthy enough to watch until 48 hours later anyway. Pity they only put the MW'07 onto the ITS. Perhaps they'll do it with the '08 - so it can download in full and the be watched.

I like to own my downloaded stuff like I would own a CD/DVD.
You own the physical CD/DVD/Blu-Ray, but you only license the content, whether from physical or now, digital media.
I really do hope this means more money going to the musicians and not the labels.
